How does it work?
During the daytime you won’t see it, your ceiling will look normal - so it will not interfere with any decorating scheme. It is only at night, when the room is in darkness then you will see your Cosmic Star Ceiling come alive. Instead of looking up at dark, blank space, you will now see
THE UNIVERSE spread out before your eyes, as you gaze up from the comfort of your bed. If you switch on your bedroom light, it disappears!
Is it safe?
We create cosmic ceiling using specialist invisible glow in the dark paints (safe & toxic free). Your own cosmic ceiling will take approx 2-3 hours to apply and can be applied on any type of surface from painted, artexed to wallpapered ceilings. Once applied the paint will then store the natural daylight that comes through the window and when the room becomes dark - thats when the magic of a Cosmic Star Ceiling will come alive. Will last well over 20 years.
Can it be painted on any type of ceiling?
A cosmic ceiling can be created on most surfaces including artex, paper and plaster.
Will I have to paint my ceiling black?
No the perfect surface colour is white or near white.
What is it good for?
They are great for relaxation, meditation, easing fear of the dark, sleep inducing, calming and distressing after an eventful day. It also helps people that suffer from claustrophobia.
When does it start glowing?
As soon as the lights are turned off, the curtains are closed and provided the room has had an opportunity to "charge up".
How dark does a room have to be?
the darker the room the better. If necessary, we'll provide you with black light tube to increase the glow.
How long will take to installl?
Most cosmic star ceilings are installed in aproximately 3 up to 4 hours the max!
